If you have the free version, you might not be able to use that sharpen plugin. However you can use the built in sharpen/ blur options. Those are controls for that png. If you want do some effects to it, you have to drop an effect onto the png from the left side first. Select the clip from the timeline, right-click on the timeline viewer > and select “Grab Still”. Go to the “Gallery” tab on the left, right-click on the still, and export to png. . For the clips with filters, I can decompose in place no problem. Clips with speed changes will not decompose (menu item greyed out). I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system. Exposure treats the footage just the same as an iso level would. This explains at around the 10 min mark. Once it has applied, right click on the image at the top and select “grab still”. This will put the white balance from the white ...Sep 1, 2023 · "Grab Still" works in the Edit Timeline, but exporting an image would likely have to happen out of the COLOR page as the application was originally designed with using these images as reference for color correction. You know, because Resolve was originally designed to do that as its primary function. Then the controls should be available. Be aware that only the studio version of Resolve includes access to all OFX plugins. If you have the free version, you might not be able to use that sharpen plugin.
