The mini powers and will charge simultaneously if enabled. There's no issues I found plugging in both while charging or not. If this test still has the "Low Voltage" problem then try using the Mini-USB cable and power USB power supply that came with the SDS100 (without the GPS). If that works, then there may be a problem with the Uniden BC-UTGC cable. When I stop the SDS100 on the exact same frequency that the TRX-1 is decoding, programmed as a DMR freq., it doesn't even make a hit on the signal bar. I can't imagine the TRX-1 is that much more sensitive on DMR than the SDS100. The SDS100 sure does do a good job with the P25 Simulcast systems.Sentinel. Feb 2, 2021 · SDS100E is DIFFERENT than SDS100 - and firmware branch is different also. I am well aware that the SDS100E version is different that the USA SDS100 version. I never said, nor inferred in any way that they are the same. In your post, you stated that you were having a hard time finding the American SDS100 firmware changelog page.
Look at the specs for the bottom one, that comes with a cable. It's 5 volts at 3.4 amps. Of the other two, the top one is 4.8 amps, and the second one is 4.8 amps, or if using both ports, 2.4 amps per port. Your SDS100 will want just a little under 2 amps to be able to charge while also scanning.. Spectrum reference code rlp 1006

I soldered wires to the three pins on the USB plug first and then soldered the 3 different sets of wires to the leads. Solder the bare wires together. The white wires are not used. Normally, they should last a least a few weeks to a few months if the main battery is dead. If the main battery is dead I've had mine work fine 6mo+ later. I had the DMR key included (I believe it was discounted at time of purchase). Last year, just under one year into the warranty, my wife started her car while the scanner was plugged into the car for power. It shut down and would not power back on. So I recently purchased an SDS100 with the DMR upgrade. The receive quality doesnt even compare to any of the HTs I have. Walking down the street, sitting inside or even both hooked up to similar outdoor antennas, and before anyone asks yes ive tried swapping the antennas (outdoor) on the SDS and HT. I am completely ignorant to the proper use of quick keys and the best strategy for using favorites lists to my advantage. It's right under the V of the View dropdown menu. In the Profile Editor, click on the Service Types tab. Now, out in the middle of the Service Types list, <Right Click on a blank spot. That will give you a small pop-up menu where you can either enable all Service Types on, or turn all of them off (Disabled).I noticed the SDS100 has a dedicated battery pack so that is a buzzkill compared to AA batteries I'm used to. I will be required to purchase an extra battery and charger.
